Film mit A.J. ab Februar im Pay-TV
Ab Freitag, dem 4. Februar 2000, zeigt PREMIERE WORLD in deutscher Erstausstrahlung den US-Spielfilm “Meet The Deedles” (”Deedles – Die Surfer mit dem Brett vorm Kopf”).
Aehnlich mies wie der deutsche Titel ist auch der Film, der von Disney produziert wurde und in dem A.J. Langer eine etwas groessere Nebenrolle spielt.
“Trouble” will air all episodes in March
Good news for all british Fans: A spokesman for “Trouble” just confirmed to MSCL.COM that “Trouble” will air all episodes in 2000.
Beginning on Saturday 4th March at 2pm, right through to episode 19 which happens to be in May.
“Trouble” can be received via cable and is part of the BSkyB Pay-TV package on the ASTRA satellites (encrypted in Videocrypt).
“France 2″ airs MSCL in February
Starting on Wednesday, February 2nd 2000, “France 2″ will once again air “My So-Called Life” (”Angela 15 ans”). The episodes are scheduled to air every wednesday at 17:55. Check your tvguides for details!

Mondays on “TCS-5″
What an amazing year! We get news about reruns of “My So-Called Life” from around the world. Lets start with Singapore:
Starting on January 31st 2000, the English-language TV station of Singapore “TCS-5″ will air all 19 episodes of “My So-Called Life”. The show will air every Monday at 4:30 PM.

Boxed Video Sets no longer available
The boxed video sets of “My So-Called Life” by BMG Video are not longer produced. BMG Video went bankrupt last year.
Amazon.com, cdnow.com and other internet stores list both Boxed Video Sets with 12 episodes of “My So-Called Life” as “currently unavailable”. Single tapes may still be available.
A VHS re-release as well as the release of the remaining 7 episodes is very unlikely. A release of the first three episodes on DVD has been announced by Bugjuice.com
Viewers are highly disappointed
If you watched the first airing of “My So-Called Life” on Fox Family Channel last Friday 28th, then youve probably noticed the dramatic cuts FOX Family Channel did to the show. More than 10 different scenes were cut, censored or edited.
Crucial scenes like the famous “sex or a conversation – ideally both” scene and the “Youre so beautiful … it hurts to look at you.” scene had been completely removed.

E!Online votes MSCL as Top Aborted Show
Almost five years after the last episode of “My So-Called Life” premiered on ABC, E!Online published on their website a list honoring the Top 10 of Canceled Shows of all time.
And guess what:
“My So-Called Life” made the first place leaving behind such shows as “Parker Lewis”, “Cupid” and “Harsh Realm”.
Als Leihvideo zu haben…
Nachdem die deutsche Kinorelease von “The Mod Squad” im letzten Sommer kurzfristig abgesagt wurde (news.mscl.com berichtete), ist der Film nun in deutscher Version als Leihvideo erhaeltlich.
Ab dem 21. Januar 2000 ist jener Action-Film, der bei den Kritikern teilweise harsch durchfiel, mit Claire Danes in einer Hauptrolle unter dem Titel “Mod Squad – Cops auf Zeit” in deutschen Videotheken erhaeltlich.
Mit einem Release als Kaufvideo oder DVD ist im Fruehsommer zu rechnen, die amerikanische DVD (RC1) ist bereits seit einigen Monaten in den USA kaeuflich zu erwerben.

The Fox Family Channel has announced to air all episodes of “My So-Called Life” starting this friday (January 28th 2000) at 8 pm ET.
Repeats every Tuesday at 10:00 pm.
TM3 zeigt Film mit Claire am 24.01.2000
Unter dem einfallslosen deutschen Titel “Gestern war ich noch Jungfrau” zeigt TM3 am 24.01.2000 den Film “Polish Wedding”.
Das Katholische haben sich die Pszoniaks aus Polen nach Detroit hinuebergerettet. Trotzdem und obwohl es mit Bolek (Gabriel Byrne), der nachts in einer Baeckerei arbeitet, gut laeuft, pflegt Mutter Jadiza (Lena Olin) ein aussereheliche Affaere. Neben vier Soehnen hat sie ein Tochter, Hala (Claire Danes). Die 17-jaehrige schleicht nachts gern ausser Haus, zu Cop Russel (Adam Trese), der wie sie von einem besseren Leben traeumt. Jadizia ist begeistert, als Hala auserkoren wird, die naechste Prozession anzufuehren. Da findet sie heraus, dass “ihre Kleine” kein Jungfrau mehr ist…
