MSCL in Sweden!

Mitt så kallade liv

Great news for all MSCL fans in Sweden:
The Swedish Television (SVT1) will be airing My So-Called Life, starting on May 5 at 7:10 pm (Central European Time)
The Swedish TV4 has aired the show in 1995, but only the 12 first episodes, now SVT has bought the rights of all the 19 episodes.
Itll be subtitled, but NOT dubbed.

The show is called “Mitt så kallade liv” and for those of you who are able to understand Swedish, heres the description of MSCL in Swedish:

        Amerikansk serie om den 15-åriga        Angela Chase. Angela har alltid        varit den perfekta dottern, duktig i        skolan och en god kamrat. Nu har        hon nått en ålder som innebaer        frigoerelse och hon vill taenja på        graenserna. Killar boerjar bli        intressanta och med sin nya        kompis Rayanne får hon extra        skjuts in i livets vaesentligheter        som tonåring.

“The Only Living Boy in New York”

VARIETY reports that the Bedford Falls Company is currently working on a new pilot for Fox. Its a one-hour show starring Adam Kaufman, who recurs on The WB’s “Dawson’s Creek” and also appeared this season on “Buffy”.

The show is called “The Only Living Boy in New York,”, produced by Ed Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz. It centers on young siblings in New York.

The team of Bedford Falls also produced “My So-Called Life”, “thirtysomething”, “relativity” and most recently “Once And Again”. They also co-produced the movie “Shakespeare in Love”.

Another Award for Wilson

The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force will host its 11th annual “Honoring Our Allies” celebration at noon Saturday, April 29 at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, in Washington, D.C. This years honorees include Wilson Cruz,Sandra Thurman, President Clintons AIDS Czar and many more.

Wilson Cruzs courageous and honest portrayals in the arts of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community has helped to create a safe and supportive environment for all people.

The Honoring our Allies award was established in 1989 to honor allies in the straight community and individuals in the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.
