MSCL on DVD – we want them all!

BMG Special Products released in June 2000 the first three episodes of My So-Called Life on DVD. But where are the remaining 16 episodes? We will show BMG Special Products how much the fans want the complete My So-Called Life Collection on DVD, not only a few episodes or a bestof.

Bestellung ueber jpc nicht mehr moeglich

Schlechte Nachrichten erreichen uns von jpc.de:
Obwohl Matthias Loew (wie im NewsChannel berichtet) noch Anfang Oktober 2000 eine DVD von jpc.de erhielt, hat der Versender mittlerweile die DVD aus dem Programm genommen. Jpc.de begruendet dies mit zu geringer Nachfrage.

Vielleicht kann man jpc doch noch mal zu einem Import ueberreden, aber die Chancen stehen gering.
Dennoch der Vollstaendigkeit halber die alten Infos bezueglich der DVD:

Ein Eigenimport ueber amerikanische Versender (z.bsp amazon.com, digitaleyes.com) schlaegt beim derzeitigen Dollarkurs mit etwa 42 DM zu Buche. Falls der Zoll die Sendung “erwischt”, muss man u.U. mit einem etwa Mehrwertsteueraufschlag und Zollgebuehren-Aufschlag in Hoehe von etwa grob 20 Prozent rechnen (meist nur bei Sendungen mit einem Warenwert ueber 50 DM).

Neuer Film mit Wilson Cruz nur auf Video/DVD

Irgendwie scheinen es die neuen Projekte der MSCL-Darsteller nicht nach Europa zu schaffen (e.g. Brokedown Palace mit Claire Danes).

Nun kam auch das endgueltige Aus fuer Supernova, dem neuesten Film mit Wilson Cruz. Der Film, der in den USA nicht gerade als Kassenmagnet galt, wird ueber keine oesterreichische Kinoleinwand flimmern.

Update: Auch in Deutschland wird der Film nur auf Video/DVD erscheinen. (s.u.)

Fuer alle, die den Film trotzdem sehen wollen: express.com hat sowohl die DVD, als auch das Video “on store”. Fuer den 16. November 2000 ist zudem das europaeische R2 DVD-Release angesetzt, die DVD enthaelt neben dem deutschen Ton auch den Original-Ton in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound.

a chuck griffith film with Devon Gummersall

Devon Gummersall is starring in a new independent movie called Thank You, Goodnight, opposite Young Americans Katherine Moennig.

The Film is about a struggling rock band in the mid-90s. Devon will be playing the drummer. Filming starts in November.

The Handy Kaufmans, New Jerseys unknown band, are in trouble. Their bass player just electrocuted himself into a coma during a performance, and theyve booked a two-week tour from the New Jersey Turnpike to the Great Lakes. Without their fourth man and prior bookings, what can they do? Cancel the tour? NEVER!
