Unfortunately without Wilson Cruz
A few of the original Broadway cast is going to be in the movie RENT – including Idina Menzel (Maureen and Elphaba in “Wicked”), Taye Diggs (Benny), Jesse L.Martin (Tom Collins) and Adam Pascal (Roger).
Many fans wanted to see Wilson Cruz (he was part of the Broadway-Cast – Netherlander Theatre) as Angel Schunard in the movie, but at IMDB.COM Wilson Jermaine Heredia is listed.
RENT is the film version of the Pulitzer and Tony Award winning musical about Bohemians in the East Village of New York City struggling with life, love and AIDS, and the impacts they have on America.
